Tamara Korpatsch: If you break down after a three-hour match, you’re not a professional player
My partner withdrew from the pairing this morning. I think it’s unfair that she informed me so late.
She says she can’t run because she played for three hours yesterday. I’m sorry, but I played 6 hours and 33 minutes one time and then went out for a single the next day.
It’s not fair and I’m frustrated and disappointed that I can’t play. I didn’t deserve it.
That said, she asked me to play with her herself. And if you break down after a three-hour match, you’re not a professional player. I think so, said No. 104 racket Tamara Korpatsch
"She's beaten a legend."
