Kevin De Bruyne names the position Phil Foden could have at Manchester City in the future

The Citizens’ midfielder has opened up on the teammate, praising the England international’s capabilities.

According to De Bruyne, Foden can now play in different positions, though he expects him to have a central forward role in the team.

“What is he not good at? He can play a lot of different positions. I think eventually he’ll end up centrally but at this moment it’s maybe a bit better for him on the wing to have more freedom and fewer instructions so he flows into the game…” the Belgium international said.

“I eventually see him playing more centrally when he gets older and gets more stamina. It’s all about little details to just find more consistency in the performances.”
