Manchester United owners the Glazers family have reportedly ordered Cristiano Ronaldo not to return to Carrington after the World Cup in Qatar.

Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly been told not to return to Carrington after he breached the terms of his contract.

Ronaldo made some strong claims about Man United and their executives during his interview with Piers Morgan.

Among other things the five-time Ballon d’Or winner said, the Portuguese star accused the Glazers family of running Manchester United as a marketing club and said they have no cares about the club, sporting-wise.

The Portugal international also said Erik ten Hag and three other executives are forcing him out of Old Trafford, and publicly said he doesn’t respect the former because the Man United boss doesn’t respect him.

Several outlets have reported nearly the same news after Manchester United released a fresh update regarding Cristiano Ronaldo and below are some of the trending news.

Manchester United Statement: “Manchester United has this morning initiated appropriate steps in response to Cristiano Ronaldo’s recent media interview. We will not be making further comment until this process reaches its conclusion.

According to Chris Wheeler via Daily Mail: “Utd have taken the first steps towards kicking Ronaldo out of the club + he will effectively be sacked for breach of contract which will be torn up + Portugal star set to lose £16m in wages.”

Manchester United exploring terminating Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract. Talking with lawyers over legal action,” Laurie Whitwell of The Athletic reported.

Daily Mail’s journalist, Chris Wheeler added: “Manchester United do not want to pay Cristiano Ronaldo any compensation after tearing up his contract because it would be seen as rewarding disloyalty.”

He also added: “The Glazers, Richard Arnold, John Murtough and Ten Hag decided that Cristiano Ronaldo has burnt his bridges at Manchester United and there was no way back for him at the club.

“Man United’s lawyers are SATISFIED that Cristiano Ronaldo has breached the terms of his contract.”

Jamie Jackson reported: “Cristiano Ronaldo has been instructed NOT to return to Carrington after his participation in the World Cup.”

ESPN reported something similar: “Ronaldo will be informed he is not welcome back at United’s Carrington training base after the tournament in Qatar.

“Sources say as well as seeking to terminate his current deal, Manchester United are looking at potentially suing Cristiano Ronaldo for breach of contract.”
